There are two ways to log a vital. From any log screen (e.g. Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar, Weight under History), tap the + floating action button in the bottom right corner to add a reading directly. Alternatively, open the Scanner screen and tap the floating action button at the bottom — select Vitals to log any metric from there. Readings are timestamped and added to your history chart immediately.

For best results, ensure the meal is well-lit and fills most of the camera frame. Avoid scanning cluttered backgrounds. The AI works best with plated food rather than packaged items. If a scan fails, you can manually enter calories and macros using the Add Calories option.

Go to your device's Health app (iOS) or Health Connect app (Android) and make sure Vytal has permission to read steps, sleep, heart rate, and other vitals. Then return to Vytal and pull down to refresh the home screen. Permissions can be granted under Settings → Privacy → Health on iOS.

Open Vytal, go to Profile → Wellness+ and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID or Google account you used when you first subscribed. If the issue persists, email us at support@vytal-ai.com with your account email and we'll sort it out.

Yes. Subscriptions are managed entirely through the App Store or Google Play — Vytal does not handle billing directly. On iOS, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions and select Vytal to cancel. On Android, open the Play Store, tap your profile icon, and go to Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.

In the app, go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated health logs from our servers. This action cannot be undone. If you are unable to access the app, email support@vytal-ai.com and we will process the deletion manually within 7 days.

No. Vytal never stores food scan images. When you scan a meal, the image is sent to our AI for nutritional analysis and immediately discarded once the results are returned. No food photos are linked to your profile or retained on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

Vytal is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Hindi, Japanese, and Korean. The app automatically matches your device language. You can also change it manually in the app settings.
